Iowa Football’s late field goal lifts Hawkeyes over Minnesota

Iowa linebacker Jack Campbell added to his legendary status at Iowa, and the Hawkeyes escaped against Minnesota to keep their Big Ten West hopes alive.

Campbell forced a fumble and snagged an interception in the final five minutes of a tied game, the second turnover setting up Drew Stevens’ game-winning field goal that handed Iowa a 13-10 win Saturday at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. It’s the Hawkeyes’ eighth straight win over the Golden Gophers.

Minnesota (7-4, 4-4 Big Ten Conference) running back Mohamed Ibrahim was tearing up the Hawkeyes (7-4, 5-3) until Campbell stepped up and halted the Gophers momentum. Iowa is now in position to win the division with a Black Friday victory over Nebraska.

FINAL — Iowa 13, Minnesota 10.

0:30/4Q — Iowa 13, Minnesota 10.

Takes a while, but Drew Stevens ultimately gives Iowa the lead after the Jack Campbell INT.
